At Desert Skies your children will be welcomed and accepted as the individuals God made them to be. Every child is a blessing and a precious member of God’s family.
For Jesus said, “Let the children come to me and do not hinder them; for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” Matt. 19:14
While you enjoy worship at our 9:00am service, your kiddos can either stay in worship with you or participate in one of our Sunday school classes where they will learn about Jesus and God’s love for them with friends in a safe, fun and loving environment.
The community and relationships of your family with our whole church family is important to us. We encourage you to also join in these opportunities such as our Wednesday Night Dinners in the fall/spring, Ice Cream Socials, Trunk or Treat, Vacation Bible School, Music Camp, Western Sunday and Family Life Events.

Children’s Sunday School

We are a Safe Sanctuaries Church
Desert Skies supports parents’ desire to have their children taught in a loving, safe environment as they learn about God.
As such, we have adopted a Safe Sanctuaries policy to help protect children, youth & vulnerable adults along with those who volunteer or staff these age-level ministries.
Our policy includes such things as background checks, open viewing class rooms, and the rule of three along with training for those who work in these areas.
