What to Expect
Desert Skies campus in Vail worships in the Peak at Mica Mountain High School, located just east of Houghton Rd. on Valencia on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. You may use either the first or second entrance to the school and park in either lot. There is plenty of parking is available near the front office on either side of the center sidewalk. Enter the gates to the right of the School Office and follow the signs to the end of the building. On the right you’ll see more signs, and there are greeters to welcome you into the Peak and answer any questions you have.
We encourage you to enjoy refreshments at Christ Café before the service, located just inside the entrance to the Peak. Because we try to be sensitive to people with differing needs, we provide gluten free snacks each week. It’s perfectly fine to take your refreshments to the round tables that fill our worship space. Tables are also provided with activities for children and youth to help them connect with the service.
Worship services typically last around an hour and feature a blend of contemporary worship and traditional music led by the band. There are also times of reflective and purposed prayer, a 15-20 minute message, and opportunities to follow up with what you heard in the message through service and small group connection.
Wear what is comfortable for you. In general, it’s a casual atmosphere. You can “dress up” or be casual, because you’ll find the complete range at each of our services. You won’t be singled out. Our hope is that you feel at home as soon as you enter any of our locations. We expect to have new guests every week, and welcome your questions and comments after the service.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Children and youth begin worship in the main auditorium(the Peak) with their families. Once the children have enjoyed a special “Children’s Time,” kindergarten through middle school students are invited to enjoy a time of age–appropriate learning in areas set up just for them.

Middle School and High School students from both campuses meet each week at noon for Youth Group that rotates between what we call the 4 S’s: Study, Skills, Service, and Socials. Check our youth calendar for locations.
